My Accoutrement is the creative work of Desiree DeLong, a Durham, North Carolina based artist and designer. While jewelry is a relatively new offering, hand crafted, personal creations are a lifelong passion. When she's not sprawled out on the coffee table surrounded by boxes of curious vintage metal pieces, heirloom beads and miles of myriad chain, Desiree can be found building elaborate wedding dresses and custom garments for an elite, word of mouth clientele (her lovely and discerning friends). A former seamstress for the theater and ballet, now she focuses on metal and jewelry work primarily. She shares her home with two silly cats, one well-mannered pound puppy, and a doting husband.
